This project follows a 2003 RSA Design brief to design a product to improve oral health. My research showed that people do not floss their teeth as often as they should, so I decided to design a product to make it easier.

My final design is a hand held flossing device with an auto-feed function. The user presses a button to move the floss on to a clean section.

I put a lot of thought into how this device would actually work and created a detailed virtual 3D model using a computer aided design program.
